After Fillon, Marion Maréchal-Le Pen says it’s time for “Plan M”

According to the French politician and member of Front National (FN), the socialist government supports Macron. “The left,” she said, “wishes to shoot those who might prevent them from gaining power.”

Marion Maréchal-Le Pen is worried about the “speed” of justice, which, less than three months of the presidential election, attack the candidate of the right François Fillon but also the Front National. Invited Sunday to the TV show “Grand Jury RTL-Le Figaro-LCI”, the young deputy of the Vaucluse targeted the socialist power, which she accused of using the judicial calendar to its advantage.

“We have a candidate, Emmanuel Macron, who is launched as the lifeline in the socialist sinking. This man is credited [by the polls] to be able to arrive at the second round. So the Left logically intends to shoot all those who could prevent them from reaching power,” said Marion Maréchal-Le Pen.

Although she believes that François Fillon is “delegitimized” and “discredited” by the employment of his wife and two of his children in Parliament, she believes that the former prime minister has defended arguments “that are not totally unfounded.”

“There is behind an instrumentalization of this affair, on things that can be real, it seems obvious to me,” analyzed the elected frontist, adding that “it is enough to see the speed with which are all these inquiries “to be convinced.”

“We are not completely naive, we are not completely dupes (…) It is the demonstration that there may be interests behind (…) And we will probably be next on the list”, she said.

Troubles for the Front National

The National Front were ordered to repay almost EUR298,000, or USD318,000, of misused funds to the European Parliament by January 31st. The EU parliament is seeking the repayment, which officials stress is not a fine, after an investigation by the EU’s anti-fraud office found that aides for Le Pen’s National Front party had been illegally paid from EU funds for working for the party in France.

Marine Le Pen, leader of the National Front, declined to repay the funds, saying “In order to reimburse, I’d have had to have received the funds, but my name isn’t François Fillon,” and “Moreover, I formally contest this unilateral and illegal decision.”

This disastrous climate that hangs over two of the main candidates in the presidential election could directly benefit Emmanuel Macron. “We know very well that business is a way of dirtying politicians, of getting in there, of preventing going on the bottom,” says Marion Maréchal-Le Pen, affirming “that there is a risk that the Left chould return to power.”

The young Le Pen took the opportunity to directly attack the former Minister of Economy, new favorite of the polls: “Those who think that he would carry out a policy radically different than what the left carried out in recent years are wrong. He is a real left-wing man in all that is most terrifying and most excessive … It is said that Emmanuel Macron has no program, but he has a very clear program: it is more immigration, it is the apology of multiculturalism, he is a candidate who says that there is no French culture, he is someone who wants to completely liberalize public services and the economy in general.”

Time for “Plan M”

It is with this argument that Marion Maréchal-Le Pen thinks she can bring to the FN a part of the Fillonists disoriented by the affairs that target their candidate. “Go and ask the right-wing people whether, instead of having the terrifying possibility of a new left-wing president at the Elysée, we should not rather turn to the famous Plan M,” said the niece of the candidate in the presidential election Marine Le Pen, “who on major social issues will meet their aspirations.”

And there is no question of telling Marion Maréchal-Le Pen that the affairs aimed at the President of the FN will prevent this possible influx of voters: “I believe there is no possible comparison” between the substance of the two cases ” For the simple reason that there is no suspicion of personal enrichment in the case of the assistants of Marine Le Pen, “she assuresd.
